What to tell us
Something broken? Send what you expected, what happened instead, and which device and browser you were on. A screenshot beats a paragraph. If it is about your account, mention the family name so we can find it.
Answers that save you an email
- Lost the family code A parent can see it in parent settings on any device that is already in the family, and share it again.
- Photos have disappeared Only the most recent 100 are kept. The chore, who did it and the points it earned stay in your history.
- Forgot the parent PIN Tap "Forgot your PIN?" on the PIN pad and enter your family's join code — you can set a new PIN straight away. Nothing in your family is lost. The code is in parent settings on any device that is already in, which is why the app asks you to write it down when the family is created.
- Lost the join code and the device The code is the only key to a family, and it is also what resets a forgotten PIN, so keep it written down somewhere. If every device that joined is gone too, write to us — we cannot prove a family is yours, so this is a conversation, not a button.
- When do the apps arrive? iOS and Android land this fall. FridgeDoor already runs in any browser, so nothing stops you starting now.
- Delete everything Delete the family in the app and the data goes with it. Or ask us and we will do it for you.

Same address, and please put “data request” in the subject so it does not sit behind the feature ideas. We answer within 30 days, usually the same week. What we hold and how long is set out in Privacy.

Most of what FridgeDoor does came from a family telling us their chart had stopped working. If yours has a habit the app cannot express yet, write and describe it — that is how the next feature gets picked.
